The Product
The Night and Day Illuminated House Number operates on a photo-electric cell which automatically turns it on at dusk and off at dawn. The red and amber LEDs are highly visible at night and have a life span of approximately 10 years under normal operating conditions. The house numbers require no maintenance since they are all plastic and completely sealed against the elements. One power supply module can support up to five digits. The product comes with complete instructions and hardware and is easy to install. The illuminated house numbers have a one year warranty and are CSA/UL approved.

There is a growing demand for high visibility house numbers for both day and night use. We have had excellent success with the larger format (5 x 7") red LED number and have introduced a smaller format (3 x 5") house number for those who have more than three digits in their address or for homes with smaller frontages. The smaller format house numbers are available with either red or amber LEDs.

Emergency response groups and neighbourhood watch organizations have promoted this product as a safety enhancement for the consumer's home. It aids police, ambulance and fire department personnel to quickly locate a home in case of an emergency. The illuminated house number has also been recognized as an energy efficient product since it operates on low voltage electricity (24V). The assembled unit consumes about $0.75/year in electric power.
